Safety Tips

Travel, especially for younger people, is a wonderful, exciting and enlightening experience.

Whether your trip is for a day, a week or a semester, and is within your city, state, country or abroad, it will be an experience your group will always remember.

Travel also enhances learning-history can come alive in an historic place-language skills can improve in leaps and bounds by becoming immersed in a foreign country-and understanding for the world we live in can be significantly enhanced by meeting different people and experiencing other places and cultures.

SYTA (The Student and Youth Travel Association) is an organization dedicated to promoting and supporting integrity and professionalism among student/youth travel service providers and promoting quality packaged student/youth travel services that enhance social, cultural and educational growth.

This brochure contains suggestions from some of our member companies to help address some of the safety and planning concerns which come up when organizing a student or youth trip.
