Mission Statement

The mission of the Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA®) is to promote and support integrity and professionalism among student and youth travel service providers and to promote quality student/youth travel services that enhance social, cultural, and educational growth.

Purposes & Goals

1. Create a positive awareness of and desire for packaged student and youth travel.
2. Foster financial stability and credibility in the student and youth travel marketplace.
3. Promote a professional code of ethics for companies operating in the student and youth travel business.
4. Provide a collective voice in government for legislation affecting student and youth travel.
5. Create a forum for industry networking and professional development.
6. Facilitate access for the supplier community to student and youth travel companies.
7. Provide access to inbound and outbound international student and youth travel business.
8. Establish linkages to other professional organizations with related purposes.
